Running 2:45:29 [2] 27.73 km (5:58 / km) +1267m 4:51 / km
shoes: Asics Mileage 3

Super exploring. Found some crazy single track scrambles (trainers don't do scree type slopes well especially descending) some non track scratching and some open track baking routes. I had a very badly hand drawn map with some hills I wanted to go to but managed to get lost a few times but that is the fun of it. The first climb was hands on rock in front of you scrambling and I was already exhausted so made sure it was a nice and slow one with lots of stops.
It was hot and humid again but found water en route thanks to these random pumps in the woods that give you nice cool water. Amazing.

Get back to hotel and TV coverage of there national sprint race is on tv. Grand.

3 PM

Running 56:33 intensity: (41:33 @3) + (15:00 @4) 13.52 km (4:11 / km) +16m 4:09 / km
shoes: Asics Mileage 3

Exploring the Danubes (Canal, new and old). This place is a mecca for road runners and bikes. Endless cycle paths about 5m wide and lovely flat rivers to go along. They even paint to tell you when you have gone 100m. This seemed a bit OTT.
I was aiming for steady again but the 4am start today in Edinburgh along with 30 degree heat just left me feeling dead. Last few k were a real struggle.
Have to find some trees for the long one tomorrow

Running 51:42 [3] 12.54 km (4:07 / km) +104m 3:58 / km

IW.
Fairly hard effort not helped by the gradual headwind the whole way. I should run home instead.
6 PM

Running 44:52 [3] 10.96 km (4:06 / km) +70m 3:58 / km
shoes: Asics Mileage 3

Steady with Murray. Very gusty at times but generally quite sheltered. Feeling good

Note
(rest day)

Lazy day with Laura. Motivation is very inconsistent at the moment. Not sure how much I will get done next week as am away working but then aim to get into routine after that.

Cross Training 1:20:00 [0]

Tired coming home. Got home to do a quick roll on my leg and just shut my eyes and drifted off for a minute. Then off training again.
6 PM

Running 1:09:59 intensity: (53:39 @2) + (10:00 @4) + (6:20 @5) 16.02 km (4:22 / km) +126m 4:12 / km
shoes: Asics flats

Lap of bog with Laura then to Meadows.
5k race. Was trying to race but lacking the impetus to hurt myself. Thought I was going quicker at the beginning to realise I was running at 3:17s and then just kinda left it at that with a bit of quicker last lap. Oh well.
Feeling quite good on the WD also.

Running 1:25:27 [2] 16.17 km (5:17 / km) +257m 4:54 / km
shoes: Asics Mileage 3

IW via Blackford, Craiglockart and WoL. Found a load of new tracks in WoL so went exploring. Was very tired hence the slow pace but always feel better exploring. Longest I've done pre breakfast in a while.
6 PM

Running 54:47 [2] 9.28 km (5:54 / km) +371m 4:55 / km
shoes: Asics Mileage 3

Some more easy hills on AS with Laura this time. Decision tomorrow of Caerketton downhill or Meadows 5k. Thinking 5k as I feel the downhill may destroy my hamstring and I am also curious to see how far off my fastest I am at the moment.
