Middle Q & F at Allean.
Lap 1- Hanging. I picked the short straw. I tried to go there along a path in white. Turned out to be awful windblown and took me ages to climb through. Then the control was in thick trees combined with some windblown and was getting a bit fed up already.
Lap-2- Middle F, Once I got through my controls again the course got very nice and I was enjoying myself until losing 3min trying to find a boulder in a newly felled area.
Lap 3-To start of Q
Lap 4-Middle Q. Couldn't find no.1 for 4min as it was in the wrong place then spent ages climbing through windblown to 5 so just gave in at this stage and picked up 2 more controls to the finish.

Lap 1- Hanging a few controls.
Lap-2 Relay. Was against Conor again but I made a mistake on the short gaffle and he reeled me in then got me as I had the long gaffle to finish. Never felt like I was pushing that hard through the rough stuff.

Long training above house of Bruar.
The map didn't look great (just one long slope) but I thought some hard contouring legs would be good. Yet the map was all white and the vegetation varied from visible to thick trees. Sticking a control on a boulder on a slope was just a game of bingo. Was a nice run round with Conor just shouting if either of us found it.

4x2k (~90). Feeling good early but was going a bit slow then tried to ramp it up. Happy with the feeling for not the fastest pace. Then 4 strides
