Ultimately very happy with the weekend. A solid middle race a good long and over the moon with the sprint race considering I felt dead at the start. But fine once I got going.

WOC Sprint Keswick
Just intending to give it all I got. Pressure off a bit after yesterday. Felt horrendous when I woke up just feeling bruised and battered but got better as warm up done and then when the adrenalin was going it was just about pushing through the hurt. Had a clean run and felt pretty on the ball with my nav.
Very very happy with the 3rd place. Only 10sec down on Kris in 1st. Sort of questioning my decision to run the long. Has it lost me a good chance to get to WOC? But ultimately I'm a first year senior and got many years ahead of me and this is a motivator for EOC, just got to repeat this performance there.

WOC long Trial on Whitbarrow
Much more up for this one. Set off steady and found it hard in the woods but soon got into it. Doug caught me after 40min soon lost me but I managed to pull back and then we were together until the end. Pushing hard but making a few mistakes. Took a massive fall on some rocks on the downhill to the 19th which hurt quite a lot and took some wind out of my sails.
5th Overall and 2nd Uni student behind Scotia. So good for WUOC

Bit of a shock into technical forest o. Was having to stop every other leg to check where I was/ what I was doing. No big mistakes but very little flow.
