FRA relays leg 2 with Northrop for the B team.

Some lovely weather to get the motivation up. Tom had a stormer on first coming in 7th. We set off fairly steady for the fairly flat first 20min lots of teams came through us here.

Then the beast began. 1.2k 370m climb. Never done anything like this before felt okay at beginning then legs were on fire and Neil was pulling away so trying to keep with him but he had to wait for a little bit at the top for me. Again more teams coming past.

Hoping for a nice ridge run unfortunately 70mph winds made it tougher than expected and still a lot more climbing to go. I was struggling, then I got a bit of a second win after about 55min and started moving well on the easier gradients and going back past some teams.

Then was flying on the descent and I was stronger so was holding back a little bit but not too much. In the end we were 10th on our leg but only 4:20 down on the some of best fell runners around.

Waiting at the finish as the A team came in for victory was great but then as Will Boothman brought us back in 3rd was just over the moon. A ridiculously good result for a 2nd team.

Jogged down to watch parkrun and cheer on some people. Did some drills and ran back. Honestly can't tell how well I am going to run tomorrow.

Was working later than planned so decided to head out with athletics. Started off really easy then Roden physically pushed me along saying we have to go faster so then upped it a bit and everyone played ball.

Standard rivelin. We all forgot headtorches but knew the path well so just ran in the dark. Good test on your footing when cant see your feet that well

Went down to intervals. Did a 10min threshold then one 1 minute then bailed just dead in legs in head. Got so much more work than last year so need to try and find some way to train without being exhausted the whole time
