Smashed my leg on run out of jukola and now massive bruising and can't really walk without being in pain.

Jukola 2012 Ravinen 1st team

Decided to go hard for the 1k run out and get myself into a good train. Unfortunately fell in run out and smashed my leg. Luckily avoided getting trampled somehow. Leg hurt but not too bad had plenty of adrenalin then was going well to one then just missed at end by a few m and ended up going wrong train and lost over a min and had to try and catch up. Rest of race was not great with another 2min mistake and then about a 5min one after long leg where I just couldn't work out the map. Struggled running on easy bits as couldnt push off with left leg and stuck behind slow people. Pretty much a disaster of a race and quite a few below par performances in the team so finsihed down in 71st. I honestly wasn't a big fan of 1st leg it's like a totally different sport to orienteering.

Ran round an old stockholm city cup but split race into 4 sections with a min rest as was feeling too tired to race it all.

Middle distance training from clubhut. Started off very badly making minute mistakes at 3,4,5 then got into it. Kalle caught me so pushed to stay ahead of him and was then orienteering and running really well.
Afterwards Gustav took us to "Swedens best Kebab House" which involved eating a ridiculous quantity of food had to use some Man V Food tactics to conquer it.

Short Orienteering intervals. With me, nick, will, robert kruger, martin polkop, and sj. Was fast most reps well sub 5min k in terrain and running ahead of others most of time so navigating well pretty happy with this just hurting in legs though. Was 15 x ~1min legs with 30sec rest at each control

Well sweden made a very good sprint race had to think about it most of the way generally good little indecisive occasionally and struggling on hills at end.
Results The top 10 from previous 2 races ran there own course though

Training on Nackamasterna was butterfly loops me and will ran in opposite orders tried to push a bit harder today running close to race pace. Then a slower long leg between butterfly controls. No paths on map

Ravinen Training in evening on Gommaren. Lots of water appeared and got very stuck in marsh at beginning going straight running much better today just one huge mistake which was bad. Started same time as Will and finished about 30 sec ahead but didnt run much of it together at all

Got up at 2 in morning to start travelling so plenty of time for training today. Just did a course using Naturpasset controls on ulvsjon started with a 5min mistake :) then got into it a bit more really nice day and perfect to be out oing
