Warm up/Down 40:00 [2] 5.0 km (8:00 / km)

Orienteering race 1:14:10 [5] 13.14 km (5:39 / km) +405m 4:53 / km
shoes: VJ Integrator

Was a strange race had a pretty much perfect first loop but was absolutely knackered at the exchange but then managed to stretch my legs out on a path and was feeling much better. Then into the green were i lost about a minute as i just couldnt read the map. I had been concentrating on this too much and didnt see the long leg luckily it was nice and easy and so just tried to push it a bit was chasing some of the earlier elites who were together so gave me something to run for. Then messed up one after the spectator a bit it just seemed to easy to be my control. lost 30sec on the loop. Then had about a 90 min wait before others came in. Was so happy with how i did i know i only beat matt and peter by seconds but still only being just behind ralph and hector really made me feel good. Was the longest i had been running before in a race aswell. It turned out quite nicely unsure about jwoc now aswell.(oh and had to turn a load of controls on again grr)

Warm up/Down 45:00 [2] 5.0 km (9:00 / km)

Orienteering race 31:51 [4] 5.18 km (6:09 / km) +150m 5:22 / km
shoes: VJ Integrator

Had an alright run it was perfect at number 12 then i messed up every control after it probably lost about 90-100sec and then about 15 sec turning all the bludey controls on it just ruins your flow as you have to physically stop at each control. I was happy with my result though better than i thought i would have been would have been nice to be ahead of the 3 20s who did low 31s.
