Orienteering race 1:15:29 [5] 12.6 km (5:59 / km) +180m 5:35 / km

Very scrappy early on, had lost 3.5 mins by number 6.Felt I was running ok but not overly fast. Map was fairly vague in places. Probably lost a total of another 2 mins on the rest of the course, lost the plot when I caught Mark2 up. Ok result by I'm looking forward to starting intervals later in the season and increasing my speed.

P.S. Guess who I beat again :-p

Pushed hard for about half of this run, felt crap.

To work and back on what is now effectively a single speed bike due to only having one gear that doesn't slip.

Right so new chain on and it slips so I clearly need a new cassette now too...how bloody annoying. Do I need a new chainset too? I may aswell have just bought a whole new groupset the way this is going. Shimano sora is crap anyway. Anyway at least some guy was very pleased with himself for beating me up a hill, well done.

Was going to go to the gym at lunch then kept getting caught up with work and somehow managed to miss lunch, then was going to go after work but felt crap so just went home.

Hard 5-a-side game, we won 4-2 and I managed to get on the score sheet, good times.

To work and back, chain snapped again near the top of a hill so coasted to the bottom and put my running shoes on...

...run up the hill to my house with my bike and snapped chain.

Monday night run with John and Keith. Keith was ruined but John strangly seemed to have quite a bit of energy. Very steady run, waited for Keith quite a bit. Right at the end myself and John pushed up the hill through Eastville park.
