Running race 34:30 [5] 10.0 km (3:27 / km) +35m 3:23 / km
shoes: Salomon S lab sonic 6 2

Leeds Abbey Dash

Tucked in behind a vet from TBH who I knew was going for a similar time as I, but had done the training to prepare properly for it, till about the 5km mark then gradually eased away a little. Hit 7km on pace but felt a little dizzy and had started to drop off pace slowly by 8km. The climb just before and during the finish was grim.

Really pleased I did this and got me motivated to do better so winter training is beginning in earnest

Running warm up/down 30:40 [3] 5.35 km (5:44 / km) +60m 5:26 / km
shoes: Salomon S lab sonic 6 2

A last minute dash to the start area and toilets after Willys abysmal orienteering led us to do numerous laps of Leeds City Centre missing every possible turning I think. The 10min journey took us about 30mins.

More sedate cool-down afterwards with Will and one of his club-mates. Ended up running through Woodhouse and past the JK arena

Along the Railway to Segedunum and back via the Riverside with John.

Legs feeling heavy but running felt easy. Been feeling sluggish since the weekend. Hopefully perk up for Sunday.
