Fisherfield Day 2
From the camp we decided to plod straight up the ridge to the summit ridge of An Teallach. After 2/3rds we regretted this choice as it became a stupidly steep grass gully. Topped out and out and backed to Sail Liath, then hit the ridge proper. Tried to follow it as closely as we could bit lost our nerve a little so had to climb back up partway along. Then we managed to both scare ourselves shitless at the pinnacles as it was pretty windy. Got up the to top then on to the next munro alright but feeling tired.
Dropped down a gully and in to the corrie below. Found an amazing waterfall to swim in on the way down.

Fisherfield Day 1
Arrived at the carpark at just gone midnight and pitched up. Left the car at just before 9 am and started the walk out in epic sunshine climbed up and over towards Shenavall bothy with Am Teallach looking amazing. Dropped down and forded the river with some ultra running guy going super light. He sped away up the hill and Lew and I plodded away reaching the top. Up and down on the ridge picking up 3 munros with gorgeous views and some cool single trails.
Dropped down to climb the fourth and we both went through a bad patch but eventually made it up. The 5th went ok and then it was just the long descent down to the loch to set up a camp.

I was useless on arrival as I hadn't eaten enough but perked up enough to doze next to the loch for 3/4hours. Best day out in a long time!

Felt a bit tired getting up this morning but the weather was absolutely gorgeous so couldn't miss a chance to get out for a run. Quayside was heaving, so meant I was running a bit quicker than planned. Bumped in to Bob Cooper (NN) to make it 3 orienteer sightings in the last few weeks in Newcastle.

Quayside to the Swingbridge and back over Millenium Bridge then down to St Peters Marina and back along the railway line.
