Running long 1:08:43 [3] 16.05 km (4:17 / km) +135m 4:07 / km
shoes: Innov8 flite 235

On the C2C at Beamish. Ran down to Chester-le-Street and back despite my legs not working to begin with this felt really good.
Annoyingly the insole on my R shoes kept slipping backwards, think I have a blister as a result. Calves feeling tight again but enjoyed myself.

Running 1:31:00 [3] 20.01 km (4:33 / km) +245m 4:17 / km
shoes: Innov8 flite 235

Testing out the new shoes and exploring.
Down to Whickham Thorns and along the Keelman's Way before heading up Blaydon Burn which was nice. Then just following cycle direction to High spen before dropping down to Lintzford through Chopwell.

Shoes were great, nice low drop and firm though my feet/calves may take some time readjusting.

Note
(rest day)

Travelling back today. Couldn't will myself out of bed early enough today and weather was rank when I did, good day to skip I think.

6 AM

Running 28:00 [3] 6.05 km (4:38 / km) +35m 4:30 / km
shoes: Mizuno Sayonara 2

This was a struggle.
Out along Aigburth Road then around Princes Park and Sefton. Felt dead for the first 20 then much better
5 PM

Running 48:16 [3] 10.5 km (4:36 / km) +80m 4:26 / km
shoes: Mizuno Sayonara 2

Up over Moseley Hill to Calderstones Park for an explore. Easy meadering run for the first 7km or so then started to perk up and was able to pick the pace up a bit. Will have to go back as it's quite nice.

Had an delightful hour in bed when I got in from work which helped.

5 AM

Running 58:30 [3] 13.05 km (4:29 / km) +60m 4:23 / km
shoes: Mizuno WR19

In Manchester office all day then out for a team meal so the only real time I have. Kept it as simple as possible so that I didn't have to think about what was happening. Luckily my legs seemed to comply.
11 PM

Running 14:10 [3] 3.1 km (4:34 / km) +10m 4:30 / km
shoes: Mizuno Sayonara 2

Managed to convince myself on the train home that this was a good idea. Once I'd mastered the art of slightly tipsy running it wasn't too bad actually.

Found a bridge out the back of my estate which took me towards the prom so ran to the train station and back

6 AM

Running 52:34 [3] 11.5 km (4:34 / km) +25m 4:31 / km
shoes: Mizuno Sayonara 2

Around the avenues loop felt like I was going a bit better than I actually was. The legs didn't complain until I was at the train station afterwards.
5 PM

Running 29:27 [3] 6.6 km (4:28 / km) +50m 4:18 / km
shoes: Mizuno Sayonara 2

Out to the prom and back via Otterspool. Lush evening sun with views over to the Clywdians (still need to get myself there!)

5 AM

Running 48:52 [3] 10.5 km (4:39 / km) +110m 4:25 / km
shoes: Mizuno Sayonara 2

Woke up at 4:30 and couldn't sleep so thought I may as well get out. Out around Moseley Hill, legs felt a bit tired but weren't too bad surprisingly.
Liverpool is awfully busy at 5am!
4 PM

Running 26:25 [3] 6.25 km (4:14 / km) +45m 4:05 / km
shoes: Mizuno WR19

Lap of Sefton with a bonus out and back up Park Lane in the relative shelter to make up a little extra distance.
Only one narrow miss from falling tree limbs.
Think the tailwind up the hill made it quite speedy but my legs were complaining a bit. Think tomorrow may be rather uncomfortable DOMS-wise.

Also it turns out 5am isn't a great time to go out for a run as I really wasn't with it and had a fuzzy head until about 1pm today.
