Skiing 1:11:25 [2] 11.7 km (6:06 / km) +260m 5:30 / km

Easy up Hustanworth Moor after dropping Fran off at Slaley Hall. Quite a nice ski up after the steep climb out of the valley. But the descent was sketchy...think the gradient was a bit out of the range of rollerskiing (well my ability anyway). Lost control on one section which was quite scary hit 16mph but some major speed wobbles. Luckily there was an uphill afterwards and no cars. Unclipped a few times and jogged. In future may take fell shoes up on my back then stash and jog down.

Parked at the bridge and ran up Stotterley then across to the base of the hill
Back straight as Scotts calf was sore. Mine was actually ok but stiffened a bit on the way home.

6 off road hill reps with Scott
Slow and lactic-y. Hard work but fun in a weird way. Atmospheric with the clouds in valley

Round the lake...ran out some pent up energy, from a long day driving, in the first 5mins before reaching the first proper hill where I back off to save my calves a bit. Was tempted to do more but told myself to be sensible and head back. Right decision and were becoming a bit more sore when I finished

Set off to do a steady 30. Time to get back in to things hopefully and sort myself out. But got 500m down the road and my calves were agony so hobbled back
