Down to Copthorne
Back from Copthorne

Running tempo 18:22 [4] 5.1 km (3:36 / km) +10m 3:34 / km
shoes: Flite 2015 Blue

Copthorne tempo timetrial
First time down for a while and quite nice to see how much work I have to do, nearly 1min slower than in Nov when I was fit. Slowest time on this loop so this is the base have to think of a punishment if I run slower than this.

Note
(rest day)

Two un-springy days running in a row and the heat means it should probably be a day of and then do something tomorrow

Running 21:30 [3] 4.2 km (5:07 / km) +70m 4:44 / km
shoes: Innov8 Flite 195 2015

Easy round the lake. Was thinking of some 10s hills and 25s strides but running felt a bit angular, it wasn't smooth. Legs aren't tired or stiff just no bounce still. So kept it easy, going to take another day or two to recover probably

Running 1:00:05 [3] 12.68 km (4:44 / km) +130m 4:30 / km
shoes: Flite 2015 Blue

Felt ok so met Paul and Rich in Blaydon then through Derwenthaugh and up to Rowlands Gill. Round the loop and all the way back down the track. Rich and Paul picked the pace up considerably on the way back so ran solo. Legs feel decent still after that but nothing faster

Supporting Scott on his BG to finish my 3 in 3 weeks supporting.
Supported leg 3 which went really well, he came through Dunmail 25mins up and got to Wasdale 45mins up. Was in charge of nav and got all but the line up Bowfell spot on for which we were about 20-30m below the trod. Was helped massively by the clag clearing as we approached every hill. Skipped Scafell as they free climbed up broad stand and felt a bit greasy at fat mans agony so didn't fancy it. So scuttled down Mickledore to wait at the wall end. Ran ahead in to changeover for the food order and found a Duncan Archer waiting for a couple of BG'ers we had passed on Ill Crag. Legs were still feeling decent at handover so convinced myself it would be fun to do the next leg to Honister as well. Felt on the rivvet going up Yewbarrow but just set a pace so Scott could follow me, as we got close to the top the clag closed in and was getting spat out the back door going up Red Pike feeling very bad. So let them go on and made my own pace up the hill cutting off Steeple and waiting with a food/drink support point in Wind Gap before Pillar. felt a lot better after a 5/10min sit down although was getting cold in the drizzly fog so pleased when they dropped out the cloud. Pillar was uneventful and found the little trods out to the right fine bar losing it briefly at one point. Then decided to cut out Kirkfell to make sure I'd get to the end so traversed round to Beckhead. Short wait and feeling a lot better so plowed on up Great Gable, Scott was still going well 50mins up on schedule at this point so 19:30 was on! The descent down to Honister was fairly uneventful found the trods fine and no nav time loses so then ran on ahead on the descent to prepare the food order again.

Drove round to Dunmail to pick the car up then back to Keswick for chips whilst waiting. A bit tense waiting for the finish but he put in a strong finish to clock 19:25, 56mins up on the schedule he set!

Time includes a few waits moving time probably closer to 9:15hrs

Running 30:30 [4] 6.0 km (5:05 / km) +75m 4:47 / km

Unfit! No speed whatsoever! Easy run with two efforts (2mins and 3mins) and it killed me!
