Repping North-East for first time in 8years?

Set off comfortably although had Saville come past unexpectedly. Then settled in to it and had a bit of chat with ToddO who gradually pulled away on the first two loops then going in to the first open climb I just started to get more and more dehydrated it was far too hot! But plugged on with it getting gradually slower got overtaken on the last climb by another NE runner but stuck in and dropped him on the descent then managed to kick on through the field and overtake someone just before the line.

I have NEVER been quite so fucked at the end of a race. So dehydrated I could barely see! Eventually managed to get up and go lie in the river for a bit which made me feel a bit better

Walked around the course beforehand and cheered on the women. Then a lethargic jaunt around beforehand. Nothing afterwards as I couldn't move/speak/see needed to cool down

Up Porter with Wright to the Llama hill where we did 8*17-20s hills then back down and through Endcliffe bumped in to Milo who was otherwise engaged when we set off

Track session 2*5*400s (90s between reps and 7mins between sets)

First time at the track for a while started out as a lovely evening which degenerated in to a summer shower and then a thunder storm but fun to be out.

First one I felt really good on and had to hold back then ground out the rest of the first set and the second set I tried not to push quite so hard on the first and felt a lot more comfortable throughout
