Orienteering 36:46 [5] 5.5 km (6:41 / km)
18c shoes: X Talon 190's

Feeling really up for the at the start and legs feeling good on the start line.
1 Fine ran hard with Duncan, Ben, Matt and Bray
2 Fine
3 Initially though I was going to 8 so dropped a little then was overly cautious in the boulders just before with Bray
4 Fine
5 Fine
6 Fine
7 Slightly overshoot by about 15m
8 Fine went straight dropped Jack
9 Fine, think I got a little lucky spied it behind a boulder
10 Fine although legs started to die here
11 Up and down fine
12 Fine
13 Fine
14 Same as yesterday just looked at it and decided it wasn't mine for a bit
15 Ok slightly too low
16 Awful started feeling dizzy, going backwards
17 Same
18 Same

Not sure what caused my feelings towards the end, maybe a lack of pure high end running in the last or maybe dehydration from overheating last night as I didn't overdo it on the evening

Orienteering 10:00 [3] 1.5 km (6:40 / km) +50m 5:43 / km
shoes: X Talon 190's

Down to the bottom car park and back with a few stretches thrown in feeling good.
Had to have a lie down afterwards as I felt so spaced out

Orienteering race 1:11:42 [5] *** 9.7 km (7:24 / km)
25c shoes: X Talon 190's

BUCS individuals Ilkley Moor
1 went straight fine
2 a little high but banana'd in
3 miss-read the wood boundary and overshot a little
4 fine
5 fine although didn't quite get the right line in to the control meaning it was a slippy climb up
6 fine
7 miss-read the map and thought I was looking for a boulder instead of a re-entrant so pretty much just stopped and looked at the control before deciding to punch it
8 fine not sure about the line
9 fine although again was dragged a little low by the vegetation insignificant in time
10 Pleased pretty much bang on
11 Not sure I got the route quite right and then pansied about on the knoll not knowing where the flag was for a little
12 Fine although think I could have chosen a better route out of the quarry
13 Fine
14 Fine, slog!
15 Fine
16 Pleased, took a slightly safer route than normal as I though it would be tricky. Slightly overshot it although had a nice direction in and out of the control as a result
17 Fine
18 Fine
19 Fine
20 Fine Tough!
21 Fine
22 Fine
23 Fine
24 Fine although a slight hesitation coming in off the path
25 Fine worked out the right path

Pleased with the result to beat Duncan and Bray and be around Aidan although a little off the pace of Willy, Jonny, Dave and Galloway all in all pleased :D
