BUCS Relay Gullane Dunes
Was having a really good race, Just behind Doug and Malliday coming up to the furthest point then missed no.6 slightly (~1:40), was stood on the above the cliff which the control was on, and got caught be the next group. Was with them till no.9 where I made another mistake (~20s) so was just behind them. Caught up time on the long leg and got back in the mix but on the last loop lost probably about 2mins just by sheer stupidity unfortunate but ohwell.

BUCS individual Balkello Hill
Didn't really have the motivation at any point due to my very early start number found myself jogging quite a few bits. Also I think last weekend took a lot out of me as I've been a little tired all week. Enjoyed it but just didn't have the 'go' I normally have. Was a bit sloppy on one (~20s) came in around it, was fine till the 2nd in the loop where I stopped a little early (~40s) then couldn't be arsed in the deep heather. Was fine on the rest really bar a slight wobble at no.25 (~10s) where I just missed it and had to bounce back in. Should have probably been around the 65mins mark with Treb and Kris I feel. Ohwell

Sprintervals in Mappin and Devonshire Area with Schorah, Treb and Bommy T

A little bit on the short side this week but a pretty good course although my head really didn't seem in it truth be told.

Was slippy on the graves in the first course and messed about a bit in Jessop
Wasn't really sure where the controls where on the second train with the little cuts, tried to find a way in to no.17 but there didn't seem to be one.
Third one was going pretty good till the control picky bit, got a bit confused by the very short legs around no's.31-34 and took a wrong turn out of no.35
Fourth one didn't read the map before setting off to no.1 followed Schorah's route the long way and got confused round the area no's.46-48 as it just didn't seem to fit quite right.
On the fifth one I was fine on the normal legs but in the star just kept losing where I was, set off to no.57 from no.56 and just wasn't really sure

Orienteering warm up/down 26:30 [3] 5.31 km (4:59 / km) +85m 4:37 / km
ahr:157 shoes: Asic GT 2140

rhr:61 slept:7.5

Heart rate is high but thats becasue I was taking it whilst stretching. Had a crap nights sleep, my legs kept twitching trying to do drills I think it felt wierd.

Had a long day felt knackered so decided to sack it off for today, the sprintervals never happened today in the group anyway.
