Orienteering race 1:29:00 [3] **** 8.8 km (10:07 / km) +440m 8:05 / km

Drove myself over to the Lake District to run on an unamed area to redo my course which I mucked up so back on. But didn't take it too hard as I can't seem to get the motivation to nail it in an out of race environment or when technique training just by myself so as such my technique gets a bit sloppy.
A few checks in comparison:
1st road crossing (no.4), 24:30 today in comparison to 17:30, got no.1 fine but then fucked up no.2 by trying to cut across the dark green too early then fucked up no.3 by contouring around way too high and having to relocate. So probably easily 7mins lost as I was quicker to no.1 I think.
2nd road crossing (roughly no.9), 44:30 today about the same in the race I think. Was clean to no.5 and made a slight blip to no.6 as I got distracted by a logging vehicle and was trying to stay out of sight so drifted westwards by accident. Was fine on no.7 as opposed to the race, drifted low and came up to it instead of going high and trying to drop in to it, then was clean on no.8 and no.9.
no.11/no.12, 55:30/57:30 to 64:00/ 97:30 was ahead of my race self by no.11 as in the race I lost a bit of time too far south whereas got it bang on today, no.10 was fine. No.12 took a really good line today got it right instead of contouring around too high and getting lost in the dark green for 25mins.
Finish 89:00/131:00, so thats 25mins to the finsh from no.12 as opposed to 33mins, managed to get them all spot on really stumbled upon no.13.
Enjoyed it today, was a really nice area.
