Orienteering warm up/down 40:00 [2] 3.0 km (13:20 / km) +80m 11:46 / km
shoes: Falcons A

A walk/jog to the start then a few stretches and focusing
After just knakered again feeling completely worn-out

Orienteering race 2:11:11 [5] **** 8.8 km (14:54 / km) +440m 11:56 / km
spiked:15/19c shoes: Falcons A

FCC Race at Graythwaite
Felt pretty good after yesterday so was feeling quite confident.
1-3 Kept it steady and spiked all 3 of them
4 Didn't check my compass on the way out and ended up north (1min)
5-6 Good again made sure I read everything I needed too
7 Took the path then realised that was wrong so dropped down but not enough and ended up north-west then west then just above it (4mins)
8-10 Pretty good started to slow down after crossing the road though
11 Compass again, on the knoll with two crags below for ages! (5mins)
12 I have no idea, was doing well picking up all the features then drifted off north quite sharply, and into the dark green for ages relocated off the top of the hill then coming round got lost again took 40mins!!!! (atleast 30mins)
13-finish Fine just walked though as was pissed off and dead (5mins)

Dissapointed with myself to be honest, feel that I have let myself down. Ohwell don't think that I dropped any places in the FCC table.
Two weeks to forget this and concentrate on doing well

BOF Training day at Dockney Parrock, just popped in really before the physical trial to loosen the legs and try get into the mapping style for tomorrow

Fell running warm up/down 50:00 [3] 3.5 km (14:17 / km) +170m 11:30 / km

Round the route with Alex and Duncan. Just warming up properly and a bit of focusing.
After bit of a jog and cheer on

Fell running race 27:51 [5] 4.8 km (5:48 / km) +375m 4:10 / km
shoes: Walshes 3

JWOC Physical Trial at Great Tower Wood
Quite pleased with myself as I was only 30s down on Duncan. Ralph won in 22:50ish?
Pushed the first lap quite hard 8:47
The second lap tried again 9:26
Third lap slowed quite a bit 9:38

Not as consistant as I would have liked but my first race of this kind so will probably pace it a bit better the next time I do something like this

Running 36:30 [2] 6.74 km (5:25 / km)
shoes: Asic GT-2130

Went for a bit of a jog to ease the legs and get away from revision for a little bit. Was nice :D

Cycling 2:30:00 [4] 10.0 mi (15:00 / mi)
shoes: Walshes 3

Went for a bike with Ian round the Jedburgh, it appeared we were following the black route. Was fine with the distance but the technical stuff I found hard didn't completely deck it, but had to jump off once.
The legs felt a lot better today, but the last hill back to Kirstins house was horrendous!
Also tried to wear my new Walshes in so I can hopefully wear them at the weekend. Will run in the tomorrow sometime probably
