Orienteering race 55:17 [5] 5.3 km (10:26 / km) +190m 8:51 / km
shoes: Walshes 2

Tullochroisk M16 4th Scotish Champs

Felt really bad and tired, enjoyed the woodland bit, made one little route choice error but nothing bad, on 5 was right on course but stopped one re-entrant too early, and went 150m further up the hill instead. Felt alright to 6 ver deep heathre but was knakerd at the control, to 7 went the wrong way but kept out of the deep heather so not too bad. Then after that I felt really demoralised and slow went a stupid way to number 8 which left me rock climbing.

Orienteering warm up/down 10:00 [4]
shoes: Walshes 2

To the start, probably a bit too hard and snapped my shoelace which put me out of the zone haha. And got three a bit too late only had 2mins to spare.

A run in Borrowdale

Set off from Mountain View, and in the direction of Glaramara but decided to go up to Bessyboot as I hadn't been that way before, a steep climb up, then along the ridge to Glaramara but got a bit lost in the vicinity of Combe Head so contoured round the head of the valley to the main path then up to the summit. Along the ridge to Allen Crags, nice undulating, down to Esk Hause and up to the plateau of Ill Crag of to the summit of that then down to the col and up Broad Crag, down to the other col and up Scafell Pike. Had a bit of a rest at the top. Then down to Lingmell col and along the corridor route to Sty Head tarn, felt really good and could stride out for most of it till right at the end aproaching the pass. Had a good rest there kind of collapsed for ten minutes. Then felt good again down to Stockley Bridge and ran back to Seathwaite

Cycling long 51:25 [4] 22.5 km (2:17 / km)

Cycle to my grand-parents and back.
Hammered the handlebars back into place and set off. However noticed on the first big downhill section that the handlebars were facing a different direction to the front wheel so took it a bit easy on the downhills. Roads were nice there and horrible back. The last section up Whickham bank was horrendous, really steep and quite long
