The Grot also known as Bull Crag, Kielder Brown 5th

Horrible, really thick forest and made a stupid route choice to 3 which lost me about 3/4mins. Had a clean run just didn't enjoy the area at all.

Stretches before the start as I felt a bit tight and a jog.

After a jog about about to loosen off

Collecting conrols in at Bull Crag, felt a bit tired.

A jog up the first half of the first hill up to Simonside. And then a few stretches when I got to my start.

A jog back down the road to the carpark and up a nice grassy bit and back down.

A run around over the top, bracken and heather was quick high though so going was tough in places. Really good though, got into the technical bit of forest and got lost (as I always do) - I'm sure that it isn't mapped right.

Jog down to the start of the intervals calfves felt really tight. So did some more streches when I got there.

Then after a slowish jog back home

Running intervals 35:00 [5]

Intervals round Watergate park
20x 30secs with 30secs recovery but got really tired half way through so had about a 5minute walk
and 2x90secs with 1minute recovery

Running long 58:12 [4] 11.06 km (5:16 / km)

Run to my grans. Down to the railway track and through Rowlands Gill and up to Hamsterly Mill. Felt a bit tired when I set off but kept going. Got to the station house in about 50mins and decided I wanted to get there in under the hours so ran the last 1.5km approx fast.
