Since only TGP walk, chose to carry 25 lb for first time. Good next step toward hoped for SC backpack in SW MT in late July.

Wire-brush and prep cedar fence for stain -first work on arms on a while.

Usually save Babler figure 8 till August but rides have felt good this spring. Made it up halfway on each first 3 climbs before switchbacking -- made shorter 4th w/o sw.

Walking 50:00 [3]

Then hiked out on Hawthorne and down into Valley -- tough trek out. Legs really felt the biking hills!
And nearly 90! First 2 days of summer. High 55 tomorrow.

What a day to ride! TGP to FP. Uphill on Skinker against wind was tough so did it twice. Then to Arch via Lindell and Olive. Light traffic is weird and pleasant. Usually downtown biking requires total focus - got to 'sight see' today. MS River within 7 feet of roadway and rising. Bad timing!!!
Then rode 1+miles along graffiti flood wall and found exit from waterfront near Sidney. Home.

Rested bruised thigh 3 days - much better.
FP at 4 pm. Very empty on chilly day - stayed mostly on grass. New nooks of Park. 2 Hawks. Goal: 10 m social distance - all but 3 10 0' encounters.
