Walking 3:30:00 [2]

Trail work with SC and then walk western loop at Don Robinson. Nice group.
Some good trail work with ground slightly frozen. Heavy clay as day warmed a bit. Loop heavily uses old roads, good walking. Link from road to loop is very slippery when wet. For in-close, popular park, their muddy trails will always be an issue. Except "close when wet" (ignored?) or heavy wood-chips (rarely used?), I see no solution. Eastern loop is more scenic butr more susceptible to wetness.
Trail map on appealing brochure is very nice EXCEPT the contour lines. I suspect that a dept amateur blended old USGS, Lidar, and mapping program in "creative" ways: inconsistent use of Index contours; 2-6 contours between index contours; lots of dead-end contours;.... Yes, you can still read ridges, re-entrants, valleys, and up from down.

Stair step 26:00 [3]

80/110 intervals -- bit harder than usual -- 90% recovered from weekend illness

Machines 39:00 [3]

13 double sets -- starting to like new machines. Felt great

Cycling 2:05:00 [2]

First ride of 2017 -- 50 with light breeze seems to be a good threshold for me.
Bit windy (10+) today but glad I got out before it got cold again.
Feeling much better and "Nope", not 70 yet.

To JB via Carondelet and return via River de Peres.

Great news - major progress on bike path connecting Casino to RdP/Alabama Ave -- ready by spring perhaps? BIG $$$ Will make it much safer for family and casual cyclists.

Walking 1:10:00 [2]

To MBG on a cloudy cool day.
Very weak after wicked 4 days of flu or 'something'. Much better now.
