Another walk, another hill & view in SF with F & Z-- beautiful blue sky all day, around 50F.
From Castro/Mission district, SW to Bernal Hill with great views of the Bay and stops at bookstores and coffee shops along Valencia and Church

Drove Jonas' Porsche to Xmas dinner at Jonas' sister's apartment. First stick-shift in ages - okay even on SF hills! Did stall out parallel parking on a grade. :)

Then back to Twin Peaks from a higher starting point with F, Z, Jonas and his parents, sister, and brother-in-law.

On way to Val's, checked out Catawissa CA. It's a recovered gravel quarry on Meremac R flood plain. Long gravel pits are now ponds, stocked with bass. No maintained trail but hunters etc have made some trails. Try it only in low water and bring a good map.
