Cycling 3:20:00 [4]

Last day of SAGBRAW. Early start due to predicted rain and winds worked out well -- done by 10 AM. Another good route to Mishicot -- long rolling ups and downs. Due to short ride, last day, and predicted weather, I pushed harder today -- I feel it. About 275 miles for the 5 days.

Our longest day -- beautiful route from Ellison Bay to Algoma -- a couple steep hills; numerous rolling hills; stiff cross-wind. Felt good but certainly glad that I took the rest day yesterday.

Chose to accept the "rest" of Rest Day -- not opting for loop on Washington Island. Short hikes at Newport SP etc. Short swim in Lake Michigan. Legs pretty tired but feeling better as day goes on -- not sore and no cramps.

First of 2 long days - Sturgeon Bay to Ellison Bay -- this extended by extra 5 miles from Pottawatomie SP at start and to Newport SP at end. Legs felt fresher than expected - length was no issue -- few hills -- mostly a cross-wind.

Mostly a tailwind from Green Bay to Sturgeon Bay. A couple hills - rollers -- but the wind made even them easy.

Day 1 of SAGBRAW from Oconto to east Green Bay with stops at Julie's restaurant for lunch with cousin Patsy and at Lambeau Field. Mostly a headwind but I missed the 3 big rains that caught many riders.
