Cycling 1:05:00 [2]

Leisurely urban ride. First to Hispanic Festival for empanadas, beer, music, and chat with Jim Jeske. Then on to Soulard for lots of local foods: apples, peaches, red peppers, cuke, cantaloupe, corn, green beans, and a loaf of sourdough rye from Black Bear.

Stiff wind from NW - felt great! First day since June 11 with low under 80 - summer's back is broken at last!

Cycling 25:00 [2]

To and from Y - beat storms.

Swimming 32:00 [2]

8*6 sets. It's been a while so back to easy sets.

Machines 33:00 [2]

11 double sets. Re-arranged, new, replaced machines. We old-timers don't see the point. :) Also, my Lat Pulldown dropped from 185 on old machine to 125 on new machine with new handholds. Weird.

STL Rec Cyc ride on MCT trails, starting at Visitor Center on I-270.
Good group, good pace, pretty hot and humid.

Cycling 45:00 [2]

To and from Pace series at FP

Running 23:24 [3] 2.5 mi (9:22 / mi)

Pace series at FP. I guessed a pace a bit faster than last week's 9:20/mile for 4.5. Same pace, felt harder, very humid. 47 sec off

Cycling 2:30:00 [3] 39.0 mi (3:51 / mi)

Wayne Marsh ride with Rec cyclists from New Town area soccer fields to Portage des Sioux. Fast pace, good group, very flat. Clouds kept temp down until last half-hour.

Cycling 2:45:00 [1]

Easy urban ride with Fran to JB via Carondelet and return via River Des Peres. Fewer cyclists than expected. Great to get out as sun came out.
