24 minutes at 80/125 spm. Harder workout than before =- challenged but felt good.
First high energy day after trip - really felt enervated after workout.

I'd been at Y only once in July due to travels. A few machines were tougher. Right shoulder still quirky but much less pain on Lateral Raise (still lowered weights). Also, very gradually, left leg curls catching up to right leg (old injury due to nerve damage).
Four 40 minute sessions with Cubs and Webelos at FVCC's day camp. Grades 1-5. Groups of 3 to 12. Parents and teens were great help. Great variation here in age and perceptions. Once map was oriented, many were good about 'pointing there' to next control. Getting map oriented was obvious to some, near impossible for others (via compass or via buildings).
Even with shade, just being in 100+ that long was very draining.
Storm came in Tuessday AM - tried to wait it out. Finally succumbed, got up, made coffee, ate cereal, then packed up in rain. Rain stopped as we left campground after stop at showers. 75 degrees felt very good then. Now returning to reality - that is, STL at 100+.
One last stop in MI at Warren Dunes SP on Lake Michigan. Early evening swim with Fran. Huge beach with back-drop of 3200 foot dunes- beautiful. Must be packed on summer weekends. Warm water. After a day of rest, swimming felt very strong.
My body really needed a rest day. 1 swim in "yesterday's Lake Michigan waters" (that is, lake Huron just east of Mackinac Bridge) and 3 swims in Lake Michigan off of US 2 really fit the bill for Zan, Fran, and me. In between, we sat in a copse of evergreens to read Sunday NYT, rest, and enjoy the shade.
