Lawn+ 25:00 [2]

Without 24 hours of dire warnings, 4 inches of powder appeared - how did that happen? Will STL survive?

Shoveled the 4 inches - left sleek sleet sheet shiny underneath.

Stair step 24:00 [3]

Stair-step at Y. Intervals of 65 and 110 steps/min.

Machines 25:00 [3]

9 machines at Y. Added 'prone leg curl' which really identified my 'weak link'. No pulled muscle pain but left leg is surprisingly weak.

Running 8:55 [2]

1 mile on 19-lap track.
First running in a long time - felt okay.

Walking 50:00 [1]

Walk with Fran in Tower Grove through 2 inches of dry, granular, sleet - a very nice compromise between 0.5 inch of freezing rain to SE and 10-20 inches of snow to NW. 10 or so people and dogs in park.

Lawn+ 25:00 [2]

Shoveled 3 inches of powder off top of packed down 2 inches of sleet. Got to concrete on steps only. Plus neighbor's.

Stair step 18:00 [3]

65/110 steps per minute at end of Y workout.

Swimming 28:00 [3]

7 sets of 6 - felt very good.

Machines 24:00 [3]

8 machines. Did leg curl at low weight, L and R. Felt good! Pulled muscle in butt much better - time to start jogging again.

Best set of Y workouts in quite a while - rested, healed, and 10 day flu is gone.

Walking 2:00:00 [2]

Hiked Engelmann Woods near St. Albans. Crossed Tavern Creek and RR tracks to look at flood plain and Labadie electric plant - never quite saw the Big Mo. Great day - ice storm moves in over next 3 days.
