Orienteering race 1:08:00 [3]

Beautiful day to be in the woods - 50+ degrees, sunny, snow still firm - good grip. Overdressed with 2 thin shirts and O top. Nice chat with Besa Schweitzer after race.

Green course - Felt sloppy - did not stay in good map contact though features were large. Not much speed. Hmm, need more woods work before Pig; lose 5 pounds?

Swimming 32:00 [2]

8x6 - found a pretty good rhythm.

Jay International had fresh durian. Brought it into work today (fortunately, Friday is pretty light; if not, this would have cleared them out anyway). Durian is SE Asia's most notorious fruit. Bit larger than a coconut or cantalope. Heavy, hard, spiny exterior - used hand axe to get into it since I'm not adept at finding its seams . Pungent firm pudding-like interior around large seeds. Very strong flavor. Rick P - bit like onion and fruity, not bad. Anne Marie - strong flavor, but I do appreciate you birnginig it in. Student - that's pretty good, very unusual. Anne S - that's the worst thing I've ever eaten.

Machines 20:00 [2]

7 machines. Ran out of patience waiting for Ab machine - guy was doing extremely slow motion reps, with pauses. :) Rest of machines felt good.

Stair step 26:00 [3]

26 minutes at level 8. Middle 13 minutes not as hard as usual.

Machines 20:00 [3]

8 machines

Lawn+ 35:00 [3]

Shoveled snow - 7 inches - very dry and not sticking to sidewalks.

Stair step 15:00 [3]

MTuW: On jury duty, I climbed stairs each day - floors: 1-8; 1-6; 1-6 Courthouses have really high ceilings - lots of steps. Winded at top each day.
