Orienteering 2:00:00 [2]
With Beth, hung tapes for Yellow and Orange courses at Hawn. Near Pickle Creek trail, we really fought the map - fine after that.
New statistic: yellow-jackets prefer female over male by a 2-1 ratio. (12 bites to 6) I stepped on a nest; I escaped downhill, Beth uphill; when we remet, the aggressive ones still pursued us - she was 'bait', I was swatter.
We headed in; Beth's hand was pretty swollen and very painful - she's improving.

Pleasant ride to and from Forest Park - blustery, cool, sunny, fall day - after 4.5 inches rain in 12 hours. We missed the flooding - lots of creeks came up really fast.
