Another day of Norwegian weather of dreams.
With T from the parking half way up the bomveg from Folkestad.
Steep boggy track still with some snow until it emerged into the open land. Stayed boggy amongst the lovely birch and juniper. Great single track up to the overhanging rock of Graten. Fjord and snow capped mountain views fabulous - all around. A few groups of Norwegians came and went - almost every one sporting a sizeable Norwegian flag befitting of the “syttende Mai”. Stayed a good while ourselves. Not often is it tee shirt and shorts up there.

Back down again but this time via Eggestøylstuva and nearly to Folkestadvatnet.
Drove back up to the lake after for a quick dip and sit in the sun listening to and watching the melting snow avalanching around us. Wouldn’t mind a hytte up there.
Need to fix this grumbly calf though. Don’t think this week has done it any good…minimal running or otherwise. Not surprising really mind.
