Hiking 45:00 [3] 3.9 mi (11:32 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running 27

Walking around Ithaca! My right knee started hurting partway through yesterday after running on Thursday. I don't know if it was from the running or from the lab cleanup we were doing (although, I don't know what during the lab cleanup would have caused knee pain aside from standing, which I do a lot of...). It was still a little sore this morning, but then after spending the ENTIRE DAY working on a proposal due this week, it was feeling ok in the evening, so after helping Sam make our fence a bit taller, I headed out for an evening walk. It was good to get out and my knee felt completely fine the entire time, so that was good.

Running 25:00 [3] 2.4 mi (10:25 / mi)

Running with Sam around Beebe Lake! Reminding myself how running works. Definitely felt weird at the beginning, but after the first 10 minutes or so things started feeling pretty decent. There are lots of goslings around Beebe Lake right now, which is super cute. Sadly, no beavers tonight.

Hiking 3:00:00 [3] 11.0 mi (16:22 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Running 27

Walking around Buttermilk Falls park with Sam and then over to the horse fields by myself! Another gorgeous day! The waterfalls were delightfully full of water, and we also checked out some trails that connect over to Ithaca College that might make a nice trail run. After lunch, I headed back out to walk over to the horse fields. I was pretty exhausted by the last mile or so, but it felt great to be outside!
