Shocking bimble around the woods. I couldn’t make the map fit and it was one of those days when I looked left, the control would be on the right. Compass work was awful too but at least I was able to run for four days without any injuries and legs felt good today.

My feet needed a day off so I rode from Cockermouth in a nasty headwind to Honister Pass. Then I ventured back via Keswick and Winlatter Pass.

Left foot had a blister from the first day so I was pussyfooting around. The Speedcross were a bad idea with all of the contouring. I thought the nav was easy.
I spent 5 minutes on the long leg helping an old woman back up the steep slope after she looked like a child playing rolly polly down the hillside.
