Happy with how it went this week.
I wanted to run for 4 days and get a score in the ranking points.
Turns out that I might get two scores and I ran for three days in a row.
Achilles seems to be responding very well from the amount of stretching I'm doing and heel drops. I'm feeling very confident now that I might not need another op if I can get the distance in over the winter for a crack at IM Copenhagen.

Started off ok and the new tracks were great. Stuffed #4 up by going in too early in the green mistaking it for wind blow.
Stupid option on the long leg and went too straight rather than the left route.
Then caught up an old army mate and too much banter ensured that I blew 10 mins at #11 and 16...

I had the 2nd start but the forest was fine and I probably only dropped a minute on the whole course.
I think it must have tracked well for the late starters as I was some way off the pace.

Nice area and a larger map always makes it good to navigate.
Drifted left on #7 but thought I'd gone right so aimed off incorrectly.
Not sure about having 3 controls in a row going up the side of the green so no navigation needed...
I found the depressions easier to use than the hills in many parts.

A great start to the week. I kept to the navigation in the first section only losing 30 seconds stopping short on #6.
Happy with the rest of the run except for staying in the marsh for too long en route to #15.
