Kil, Bays and Grib Dales with Caroline. Mainly happy to not be dropped as she's in good form after 34.35 at Ribble Valley.

I feel like I'm starting to get a bit of mojo back and keen to get back into proper training in after 3.5 months easier post DB. I just need to make sure I don't get eyes bigger than my belly (I sort of want to do every kind of session possible in the next 2 weeks!) and build up sensibly - there's no important races until April at the earliest, and being careful with my body will be required, especially as we'll soon have the stress of moving house added in.

Had some physio on my shoulder. Just muscular and no underlying demons. A reminder that desk sitting can be bad even if 'young and fit'. Mobility as important as core.

Less interrupted sleep last night, but shoulder in bits on waking. Heat pack, brufen and some mobility eased it well.

Lantern Pike with Hannah, Catherine and Andy.
Been having some issues with a big knot in my back, somewhere around my shoulder blade. Makes changing position in my sleep impossible without waking up and being painful. Fine once warmed up and running, and fitting some massage from Hannah, good thing to try our Xmas prezzy massage gun on.
