Still some virgin snow to be found in places. Nice trundle Back O'monument and over the moor.

Nominally in a self-planned speed (well, felldonkey speed) block at the moment to try and increase my threshold capacity, idea being to then build endurance at this higher speed. Snow and ice putting paid to that a bit but good leg strength weekend anyway!

Bluebird narnia day. Good yomp around the moors with hannah, including the ski run off Roseberry and home via the bakery. It will take a lot to beat this for best run I've ever had on the moors.

Watch found in the washing machine after a kit wash. It finds gps in woods tricky, but can get a lock from inside the drum.

Was going to session from work, but snow coming down suggested I get home quickly incase roads became inundated. Resolved on a recovery say but decided to give the tendons a day off sliding about before I do more this weekend.

Lovely crisp easy run with Hannah. I've managed to lose my watch since last night though.

Over to Hutton Village and back. 4 x sketchy hill strides, 4 x relaxed flat strides . More honest effort at times up hill and felt good on flats and downs. Good to analyse my stride from the snowy footprints on the way back - looked better than the expected grovel when going uphill. Felt alright on the ups and good on the rest. Right ankle a bit clunky after sliding in snow, L quad starting to get a bit hard too, need to do some mobility and massage on both.

2x 5 x 1min shallow hills with jog down recovery in Billingham. Felt alright, 1min hills always feel hard though, then 10mins into cool down you feel like you didn't try hard enough then realise you couldn't manage another.
