40.5km/20.6kph Hannah was racing at Commondale so I got a lift out to avoid the boring road miles, then headed up to The Lion at Blakey ridge, then along the Rosedale railway and reversed some of yesterday's route above Baysdale. Windy out, noticeable at 400m with minimal shelter.
41km/21.6kph. Over Gribdale, Percy Rigg, up and around about Baysdale, down the Incline and up Clay Bank. Cracking stuff. Mors roads pretty damn good for this, shame the reason they are is grouse shooting and management.

Chomping at the bit to get back to some running after Yorkshire results came in
30.9km/20.4kph. Started the year as I spent much of last year - marshalling at Captain Cook's. The nice weather (and the FRA 50@50...) resulted in 450 seniors compared to normally 300 odd. Done a good amount of walking the last few days, still sore on outside of foot but getting there and swelling much reduced. Took the crosser over to Gizzy woods and back. Tracks in good nick and nice sun.
