Got myself in a good frame of mind yesterday. Woke today and it was gone.
Grim weather, stuck mainly to tracks and paths. OMM pack broke (better this weekend so I can fix it), I bonked on a 2h run (nice confidence booster) and got back to a flooded washing machine.

Fell relays Leg 3 with Pete Rigby.
13th on leg doesn't look great. Heading to 3 I was aware we had CVFR just being us, knew they would just sit on so at the end of the leg I took a rougher line to shake them off. It worked but probably coat us a couple of minutes. Once everything had unwound itself at the end of the race this let the chasing pack get a bit closer than ideal (put Jardine in to Simon Bailey territory).
Felt pretty good especially in the terrain. Pete's turn to be off the back today compared to Hodgson, though not by too much.
Gained 2 places but they were Rossendale (old man) and Carnethy (Konrad going white-face?? They took nearly 100mins anyway!) so they don't really count as scalps.
Great day out though. Refreshing to have no questions over the nav leg for once!
