Three sisters and back on the contour. Had some snow but thankfully was driving for the worst of the weather. Can tell Paul's got a good base in him over winter but I was moving better than last week.

Slow and steady, strong and stable.
The 6th chapter in Charlie Spedding' autobiography "From last to first" is called "the beer drinker's guide to sports psychology". I read it for the second time last night and there's some useful stuff on self image, mindset, target setting/measuring and aiming for 'optimal' not 'hard' training, observations he made whilst in a bit of a rut 10 years into his top-level running career at 28. Some food for thought given in the next 5 years he went on to a Bronze in the 1984 Olympic marathon.
