Running - Road 2:00 [1] 0.24 mi (8:16 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus 19 #2

Ah. Needless to say after yesterday's sliding about, racing and the afterparty, my foot is pretty sore. I might be that nob head.

Bike 42:00 [2]
ahr:132 max:150 shoes: CB Turbotrainer

Dusted off the turbo for the first time in 3 years. Would have gone for longer but cramped up after last night's shenanigans so called it a day.

Woke at 7 and very little snow. Looked out the window at 9 and a few inches had fallen so leapt at the chance to get into the woods and make the most of it. Bit misty but that cleared as I got further west. Smile on my face for all of this.

Running - Trail 32:34 [4] 4.74 mi (6:52 / mi) +241m 5:56 / mi
shoes: Mudclaw Classic Langdale'18

Ted Mason's birthday race. 6th runner, 9th including bikes. Just behind Holmsey, 2mins down on Simon Bailey.

ahr:135 max:153 slept:8.5 shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus 19 #2

Slushy run round north Stockton and Billingham in the gap between work and a work meal out. Once out off the roads the snow was alright underfoot. Shoes got a good cleaning as well. Someone had managed to park their car on a roundabout despite minimal snow about there. Also more snow down on Teesside than 'up' in Guisborough.

Cold coming on but fuck it I'll still race and drink too much tomorrow anyway.

2x 4,1,2,3 (4) at the Riverside. Kept the 4s at 5:50s, then harder on the 1s and 2s, which were quite hard work. With the long recoveries I took the first 30-45s easy then tried to keep the rest a bit quicker - 7s or thereabouts.

shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus 19 #2

10(5), 5(3), 3(2),2.5 tempo (5:50) around the old Crisp factory route from work. came out just under 5:50s.

I'm using my forerunner for intervals as not quite fathomed the all-singing-all-dancing Suunto for anything but basic repetitions.

Had a physio appointment. Not achilles issue but instead post tib. Got a few exercises and need to load my leg work more to build its strength. However fine to continue running as it doesn't hurt when I do so, therefore little danger of plantar issues (famous last words).

Running - Road 52:10 intensity: (4:44 @1) + (37:50 @2) + (7:41 @3) + (1:49 @4) + (6 @5) 6.45 mi (8:05 / mi) +185m 7:25 / mi
ahr:137 max:173 slept:8.0 shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus 19 #2

Easy woods with strides. I feel like I'm moving OK, but it's not coming out very fast. Plenty of time for that to change though, no need to worry.
