Northern 12-stage leg 8. Out in 7th just behind Leeds and Trafford, caught by Sayul, caught Trafford.
Felt pretty good, paced well after seeing Craig try and catch Steve Vernon before swimming in lactate, managed to avoid this fate though looking at km paces, 3.01 followed by 15, 27 and 25 pace maybe not the most sensible. 12 minutes very short but on the road for me it's preferable to anything between 15-100 mins.
Cadence quite a bit higher than I often manage in races - I think - 91 compared to 85, so strides seem to be having some effect.

Curbar, Froggatt and White edges very easy with Han. Feeling tired, not had a full day off since Edale so that'll most happen tomorrow.

Then up to crosspool for carvery.
First track work in 4 weeks, good and enjoyed.
