Crowden Horseshoe. 2nd, 5mins down on Jack Ross, shame I couldn't push him a bit more today but the fact I was 40s slower on a long draggy uphill today than I was 10 miles into Holme Moss tells a story. Clag lifted as I drove over Woodhead and was a nice day, bit clergy near the top though but Des had flagged all of this bit. Felt pretty leggy but no-one came with, although was closed up by Shaun Dimelow after Tooleyshaw Moss which made me pull my finger out a little bit as 'pulling a spurs' (finishing 3rd in a 2-man race) would have been a bit embarrassing.

Wet and boggy as on the way back.

ITW via Eccy, Limb, porter and Botanicals. Did this for convenience as knew would ed up in a pub after work, but a starved long run once a fortnight or so is a good idea I think for converting body better to fat-burning.
