Maybe started off a bit too quickly, getting excited and running ahead of spongey/malliday. Quite hesitant, was making plans quickly, but not ahead of time. Lost a bit due to crossable walls on 1/12 (5/3secs). Very hesitant on 9, 10secs lost maybe (shortest leg!)? Lost 10 on 17 as the kite was hidden behind a tree. Finished 13thish, fairly happy but could have been a bit higher.

Bit tired but OK, and good planning in the start lane meant I minimised time loss on decision time to #1. Although i did loose a couple of seconds on the wrong side of a wall, couldn't see 2 and someone pointed it out to me. Lost a bit exiting 6, and a fair bit hacking in DG at 12. A big jhesitation at 17 and from then on I was just trying to not let Alex get past me.

bugger bugger bugger, just lost and then lost all motivation. Tried to start again at number 7, but another big mistake on 11 and I decided to jib it. Most pissed off.

Lovely twilight run taking in Heavygate road, back of BoleHill, stables, lotties, den bank, stairs, sandygate, lydgate and crookesmoor. All well with the world despite not getting the PhD (did pass my minibus assessment though, be scared!)

The last week has been pretty intense considering my inability to string together 7 days of training since February, so having a day off ahead of le weekend. Quite a productive day otherwise :)

Out with Dan and Ash (henceforth referred to as 'team sex') Taking in Bole Hill, Tunnel, RivGlen, Rivellin, Coppice Track, Sandygate, Crosspool and Lydgate at a reasonably paced cruise. Moved through the gears at times, but was a bit tired - still got some DOMS from circuits (!) and a bit of a cough. However, being tired on Saturday will probably lead to less mistakes. Need a bit of a rest though.

Nice 'n sleazy with Dan. I thought I'd banished the thermals to the bottom of my kit drawer, but needed to root one out today! Most of my body was sore from yesterday's circuits - oops!
Threw in a few more hills than normal after seeing how much climb we have on Saturday. Lydgate, down to Ranmoor, up to Sandygate, through the Hagg and below the allotments, up the stables and through BH.
