Running - Road warm up/down 10:00 [2]
slept:9.0 shoes: Asics somethings

Could swear 9hrs sleep from 2-11 isn't as good as 9hrs from 11-8.
Oh well, at least I saw the mouse, so we can now have fun chasing that...
Run to/from Goodwin.

Orienteering (StreetO Training) 27:45 [4] *** 5.8 km (4:47 / km) +115m 4:21 / km
spiked:16/21c shoes: Asics somethings

Course: 3.41km, 106m climb.

Dave's Long-short leg exercise in Crookesmore. For me was more a chance to practise a bit of planning ahead. few boobs about the place, and found it tough going up hills quickly after friday, resulting in slow jog/walk to numbers 14 and 17, and 18 due to cheeky planning :p
Good fun though, enjoyed the short leg bit. Mind was normally moving as fast as I was, there were some special moments (10-11 esp) and sometimes took a bit more time than needed slowing down to check map.
This is the course... and here's the route me took

Running - Road warm up/down 40:00 [1]
shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT

Home=>Tram, Tram=>Gleadless, south to North of map, Gleadless=>Tram, Cathederal=>Home.

Orienteering (Gleadless Shambles) 51:00 [2] **** 4.0 km (12:45 / km) +160m 10:37 / km
13c slept:7.0 shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT

Damp as hell, map needs to be 1:7500 really, at most. Never really got into it, made daft route choices all over. Some controls were too much effort to get to, so stood on one side of the river, looked at it and went "there it is!" before carrying on. Made up my own legs as was never gonna do all ~9km.
Still enjoyed running in the rain and slipping about in the mud, at least that's a positive. And the looks we got on the tram back as well :-)
Map needs fair amount of updating at a better scale.

Home to eat fried stuff mmm, and dave and I had a bit of a dressing-gown party in the lounge. I fell asleep infront of the Snooker. Always knew that pastime had its uses.

Note

oooh, forgot I stole signs from Spook meal, better put them up at some point. Only putting posters everywhere has put a signifficant drain on my blu-tack reserves (most of which were stole from Gaz anyway)

Running - Road (Long Run, mildly sexy) 1:57:30 [3] 22.66 km (5:11 / km) +415m 4:45 / km
slept:7.5 shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT

Crawled into 9am, got home 10ish and had decided I needed to do something to get rid of all the junk I've eaten over the last 2 days. (Dinner Yesterday was a footlong Italien BMT, which I inhaled in about 2 seconds. Had been a long day mind...)

Home => Broomhill (had to drop a message off) then down to Endcliffe Park, up through Shminty teritory to top of Porter Valley. Brown Edge quarries/Farm, Rud Hill, White Stones to the far end of Redmires. Foggy up here, bit eirie, but was loverly and crisp. Did go through a bit of ice which resulted in a bit of blood from left shin.
Then back along south of ressers, Conduit, Park, Golf Course (empty. maybe they were all doing something fun?), Blackbrook Woods. Decided to up the intensity a bit from the A57=>Home, but this failed a bit at the allotments and a lot at the stables. Made it home in time for scrubs, which is my usual Friday aim, then proceeded to eat more crap... If Tesco put Pringles on offer, I can't refuse, can I?

Felt great to be out. Had to do something useful this week! Good day for it, even if there weren't any views to be had!

To goodwin, warmup jogging, shuttley-things, toy gamey-things, jog back. Bit tiring

S&C 30:00 [3]

slightly slapdash start, but there was a plank competition, then real circuits. But I didn't really put any effort in.
