Running - Road warm up/down 7:00 [1] 0.62 mi (11:17 / mi)
slept:8.0 (rest day) shoes: Asics somethings

so, I managed the whole 24-hours-awake from 4am-4am after very little cajoling resulted in me ending up in Plug.
Thought I'd wear my new shoes to tesco, so ran a bit. Not real training, I just want to break their attackpoint virginity ;)
They are so white! I've not had a pair of white trainers in time!

Note
slept:4.0

legs have felt dead all week, so havn't bothered running, as I also have had very little time to do so.
However, getting payed £100 for doing a bit of work today, so spending the rest of the time swatting up on some molecular biology of the gene, as I'm well cool.

Hike long (Surveying in Broomhall) 9:00:00 [1] 24.63 mi (21:55 / mi)
slept:5.0

OK, OK, it's not really training, but 14/15/16 hours solid walking around with a few little breaks.
Basically, had to tread the tarmac and fill in sheets. Only got 4 hours of sleep, as my brain is once again fucking me over when it comes to going to sleep.
Got a new pair of road shoes from Decathlon also.
Anyway, I'm knacked, so am going to sleep for a bit.
Well, I say that...

Doing the same on wednesday I think...

slept:5.75

Yup, corp last night :p
erm, legs feel like their gonna drop off. Evidently all that skiing didn't strengthen my thighs, as my right one feels a bit jelly-y... I'll try and get out for a short, gentle, relaxed trot later.

Running - Road 58:00 [4] 7.32 mi (7:55 / mi) +172m 7:23 / mi
slept:7.5 shoes: Decathlon Kalenji Kapteren XT

After the exam earlier (which went pretty well), and getting bored waiting for a phonecall regarding me earning money tomorrow (didn't come) I decided to go for a run, seeing as I missed circuits yesterday due to 3 hours of Vivaldi and Mozart...
Set off from Endcliffe Cresc, behind Tapton, to Crosspool. Then along Sandygate road. Redmires Road along the golf course, where I tied a 7.30min mile for the 3rd mile. At the end of the Golf Course, left down Blackbrook Road, then onto Harrison Road. Turned left early onto David Lane, but continued along Mayfield Road, before turning onto Woodcliffe to get to the Parks. Back through the parks from the last road before the peaks, where I passed 2 ShUOCers in Sarah and Blanka. Thought I passed Nails on his bike, but doubt it...
Felt OK. Had a few rests, but only out of the house for about 75 overall. Deviated slightly from the route I was going to do due to memory, but this one was good. Felt good in shorts and a base layer. Nice to be out on a spring evening!

Route is ici: http://www.mapmyrun.com/run/united-kingdom/sheffie...

warm up/down 7:00 [2]

Need to get some road shoes. Ran in me Kapterns, have only been used once since the JK. They were full of Southern dust!

warm up/down 7:00 [1]
slept:8.5

Thus begins a few hectic weeks...

Note

Also: Shower doesn't work as Nathan's hot tap is stuck on open all the time as this house is old. As it'll take the edge about 3 months to sort it out, exercise may be a bad idea. May have to go and scrounge one off the girls down stairs. They have 2 showers! (then again 11 people...)
Other than that, it's hobo-stand-up-at-sink-with-flannel. Flannel? what's one of those!
