Victorian Middle Distance Champs, at "Little Kangaroo Crossing" which is a new map near Kangaroo Crossing. Wonderful area, technical granite but with good visibility and really good running. Had a pretty good run, poor route choice on #2 climbing higher than necessary and then didn't have a good plan on #5 and dithered for a minute, but otherwise pretty happy with the nav. Caught Liis and then was caught by Tash and we ran the rest together which was good fun, tried to do my own nav but generally that just meant I was slower haha

Lovely run except my light went flat at 18min. Luckily for me (not so much for the native wildlife) the light pollution is good enough to see by and the surface I was on was pretty smooth (or so I thought, til I tripped on a root with 10min to go and put a hole in my tights).

Social catch up this morning in Kensington with all the people who used to run for MUAC but have given up running / moved away, one of which just had a baby (she didn't run, just had brunch). First half of this run was at social pace then Dave and I went on to make it 90min and he picked it up quite a bit. Felt OK except my feet and ankles which never really warmed into it and didn't like the hard surfaces.
