Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Orienteering race (Relay) 22:00 [5] 3.5 km (6:17 / km) +70m 5:43 / km

Had to run 1st leg since owens didn't want to do it.

Nailed the first few and managed to get a lead but messed up 5# and lost a minute and a half so i was near the back. Had on ok run from then on but was getting tired so started to make small mistakes. Ended up 4th which is pretty rubbish. But the team finished 2nd which wasn't too bad.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Orienteering race (JK Day 3) 46:42 [5] ***** 6.06 km (7:42 / km) +235m 6:27 / km

Decided i had nothing to lose after yesterday so just went for it.
Got confused at 2# since i found a ride that looked like the one just after the control so stopped too early but realised quickly so didn't lose too much time. Then on 5# i must have run past the boulder but realised i had gone too far and looked back and saw Jack running up the hill towards 6#. Caught him up by 6# and overtook him coming out of the depression. Then went too far right down the massively steep hill so he overtook me again. We were swapping places for the next few controls but he messed up 14# so i got ahead. I got really tired at the end and he nearly caught me back up.

A good run overall and a good result - 3rd but still 6mins behind jonny (he's just too quick). Same about yesterday though.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Orienteering race (JK individual) 1:14:47 [5] ***** 5.82 km (12:51 / km) +230m 10:44 / km

JK at kyloe.

Was having an ok run but lost my dibber just after 9# and spend 25mins looking for it.

1# Started out at a decent speed, came off my attackpoint fine but thought it was on top of the hill but it was at the bottom so spent some time wondering around on the top looking for it before realising.

3# Went along the paths cutting off the corners, then came up the open to the top of the hill but was lower than i thought i was so spent a minute or so looking to far east before realising.

5# Contoured around dropping height slowly but didn't see the veg boundary so was too high. Realised and dropped down but thought the control wasn't in the right place since it was next to the cain and not in the reentrant.

10# came out fast crossed the stream and went up to my waist, then came through the open and hit the earth wall, but as i was coming into the control i found that i hadn't got my dibber. I spent about 25mins looking before i found it in some green near 9#, i was gutted, but glad that i found it since it says start squad on.

16# Lost concentration in my annoyance of losing 25mins and drifted to the right, ended up having to relocate by climbing a massive hill, probably lost a couple of mins.

Was soo annoyed at the end because if i hadn't lost it i prob would have had a podium finish overall since no-one else had a good run on the first day either.

Came 34th today - gutted

Orienteering race (Street race) 18:30 [5] ***** 2.5 km (7:24 / km)

Did ok, made a few mistakes losing a few seconds each time, but went to 9# before 10# and got really confused losing about 30secs at least. Happy with it since i wasnt too far behind.
