DVOA Hawk Mountain - Green
Hip was tight again from about controls 2-8, making some of the climbing difficult. Didn't have any super huge errors aside from 5, where I tried cutting through the green mess first, then went down what I thought was the indistinct trail (spoiler alert: it wasn't) and when I finally found it the trail was more defined than some of those mapped as normal trails. Overall I'm just slow and out of shape which will take some time to correct. But it was a beautiful day to be out in the woods and drive home with my enormous new moonroof open.

All over Denver with Michael (To park, back through the cemetery past apartment and then to stream at other end of town. There we met a weird lady who climbed out of the creek carrying a garbage bag. Apparently she was magnet fishing, would not stop talking and getting closer and closer to us, and of course had no mask. For some reason we always encounter these strange people when together.)

With the day off, I headed to Maryland for the first time in a year (!!!) and hiked back to the ruins of the town of Daniels, mostly consisting of two churches, a graveyard, some foundations, and some old cars. I think this is one part of Patapsco that isn't mapped. Saw a few other people out but for the most part I was alone.
