Note

Left leg feels perfect, but over the last few days I did something to my back. Was in a lot of pain overnight, and now my right leg is the one that hurts. I think it's time to go to a complete rest cycle for a while, and if things don't clear up shortly then a visit to a specialist. Very frustrating sitting at home when I should have been having my lesson, though, and I had a perfect free day for bike adventures this weekend. Why do I always break in the summer?

walking 18:49 [1] 1.0 mi (18:49 / mi)
shoes: Champion Margaret Grey

Today, back was ok again and the only thing hurting was left side of butt... very, very tight muscle. It's a bit like pain roulette, but still seems to be moving in the right direction. I tried to get up and stretch every hour, which helped.

gym - strength/weights 30:00 [3]

The good news is that my leg feels perfect today. The bad news is I woke up with my lower back so stiff that I almost had to call in sick because I couldn't get socks and shoes on my feet. But it stretched out some in the course of the day, and I wasn't sure if this would hurt, but it seemed to help stretch things out even more.

More painful today, and both calves also felt crappy when walking.

DVOA Springton Manor - White Relay Leg (Summer Picnic and VP Relays)

Our relay team was the Pineapple Possum Passel (myself on White, Lena K on Yellow, Kathy M on Brown). This was just a quick and fun blast around the park. I ran most of the course with some short walk breaks until I started going back up the hill to 7/8/9, at which point I walked, then ran into the finish from 9.
