24c shoes: Olway Tiger, sz 10
VHI individual. Eyam Moor. M40 - brown, 8.3 km. A varied area and fun orienteering. Really enjoyed it. Didn't even mind the tough heather sections, as they never seemed to go on for too long. Made at least 4 mistakes, which was frustrating, though for only 3 mins total, and about 4 mins off the pace. The landslip area towards the end was spectacular and challenging navigation, mostly because the map had soaked up a bit too much bog juice by then and was unreadable. Wales finished up 3rd, as usual, though not too far off the Scots!
