Orienteering race 59:45 [4] 8.2 km (7:17 / km) +440m 5:45 / km

PIG Sunday Long - RED. Legs felt tired from the relays and the pain in the butt served as a reminder to take it easy. Started slow, but after third bag found myself running faster. Kept an ok pace, wobbled # 6 by losing maybe a minute on the route choice and then some on #13, walked up the hill at the wrong angle and not really feeling any legs under. Was happy to be done and sit down on the ground. Great run by Carl who beat me by a minute and other juniors who weren't that much behind.

In a couple of days will probably know how my butt feels, as of this writing everything below waist is just very sore.

Orienteering 39:28 [4] 5.7 km (6:55 / km) +360m 5:16 / km

Anchored the DVOA 4pts relay team. As usual, my teammates did a superb job on the first three legs, with Wyatt having a really solid run, so that all I had to do is to hang on to the lead. Despite knowing that Eric and Magnus where battling with each other not that far back, I kept running at a measured pace and never looked back. Not sure if I would've had enough legs under me if either of them caught up with me, but luckily it never got to that point and I was told that I still had 2 min on them with two bags to go. Thanks to Cascade and Canada teams for keeping it close and to OCIN for making this year's relay so well organized and fun.
