Orienteering 28:03 [3] 4.28 km (6:34 / km)
ahr:150 max:169 shoes: Kayano 26 Blue 9.5

I may have overdone it a bit in the garden yesterday and been on voltages since... Good to be able to move this morning and ran much better than I expected/hoped for. Even so, I purposely detoured to avoid the "gates" aka closed gates you were allowed to jump over. Lost a bit of time checking on an injured competitor too. But even so, Aoife fair and square beat me today (think that's the first time). Quite a few tricky controls closely located in Haig Park. Lucky I checked all my odes as had a few potential mis-punches. relieved Aoife did not MP either.

Another failed attempt to run. Avoided the steep hill so lasted slightly longer than Wednesday, but not much.

Cycling 33:49 [3] 13.41 km (23.8 kph) +124m
ahr:136 max:169 shoes: Sidi Road

Dusted off the dust and cobwebs and inflated the tyres for a car pick-up/drop off excursion. Went unexpectedly OK, suffered in lungs and the good old left leg when some pro rider went past me near Gininderra Dr and was "kind" enough to sit up a bit for me to get on his wheel. So relieved when he went left after the O'Connor Ridge underpass :)

Cycling 30:30 [3] 12.41 km (24.4 kph) +90m
ahr:135 max:160 shoes: Sidi Road

Took a while to decide whether to do this on road or MTB. MTB would have been more fun, but potentially a bit time consuming, especially if I had some fun on the way. Took a slightly different route. I think it was OK, definitely shorter, but a few sections into the wind.

And in other earth shattering news, I went in to the office today. Just for aa few meetings and catch-ups. Scored a new t-shirt and a pair of sunnies. Might need to make a habit of this.

Run cut short due to sore knee. Tried to restart a few times but no good.
